Where do you start?Three quick ways to a wall that is truly yours.
Start with the room the poster will hang in – a living room, a bedroom, a kitchen and a kids' room each call for a different mood.
The posters in each set are chosen to hang well together on one wall – you buy the whole arrangement in one go.

Posters above a piece of furniture look best when together they fill about two thirds of its width. For each sofa and bed width we picked the layout from our sizes that comes closest to that, and it never runs wider than the furniture. Widths include the frames and a 6 cm gap between them.

Three frame layouts drawn to scale: Gallery wall
A poster or gallery should take up about two thirds of the sofa's width. Above a 200 cm sofa, a gallery 139.5 cm wide works well – three 40 × 50 cm frames with 6 cm gaps. A single 50 × 70 cm poster (about 52.5 cm wide in its frame) will not fill the wall above a sofa that wide.
Hang the centre of a poster or gallery at about 145–155 cm from the floor, which is eye level. Above a sofa or bed, leave a gap of about 20–25 cm above the backrest or headboard.
The simplest way is to start with a grid of frames in the same size with even gaps of 5–8 cm. A relaxed gallery of mixed sizes also looks good when the frames share one line, such as a common bottom edge.
Match the posters to the colours already in your room and stick to one style: Japandi and Scandinavian suit calm beiges and black, mid-century warm browns and mustard, wabi-sabi earthy tones. Above you can choose posters by style and colour.
